Sharing his name with one of America’s great musicians, NY-based Coltrane Curtis is an entrepreneur, a husband and a dad. His brand solutions agency, Team Epiphany, services clients such as Nike, Moet and Heineken and has established itself as a leader in effectively helping companies communicate with their audiences.

In his four walls this trendsetter enjoys spending as much time as possible with his business partner and wife Lisa, and his son Ellington, for whom he aims to provide the same opportunities he was afforded.

In a parallel universe within the heart of Tokyo: FvF interview with Hiroki Tsukuda

Starting as a graphic designer, Hiroki Tsukuda, recognised the gap between restrictive design work and the freedom of an artist when creating. Having made the transition, today he works as a contemporary artist based in Tokyo.

His work varies from painting, sculpture, drawing and collages - always capturing details from his surroundings and integrating them into an imaginative reality. The guiding principle of his work is to „take a peek into the other side of the world“. In his free time Hiroki takes this further by entering virtual worlds when playing video games.

The ‘Sling Chair’ by Kyle Garner

Our interior inspiration of the day was discovered in the home of Dean de Simone in NYC: The Sling Chair.

Designed by his good friend, Sit and Read’s Kyle Garner, the chair comes in brown leather and is simply supported by a wireframe.

How the FvF iPad Magazine will launch and publish exclusive and premium content.

On Tuesday, April 23rd, Freunde von Freunden will launch the long anticipated FvF iPad Magazine as a freemium app. The premium Version will include exclusive content from the FvF Berlin and FvF Friends book, never before published or pre-published interviews, behind the scenes insights and content which will only be available on the iPad.

Pictured above is Berlin-based fashion designer, Wibke Deertz, who is part of one of three exclusive portraits. And thanks to Vitra available for everyone during our launch phase. More exclusive content will be released in the coming weeks.
